We join the beauty of her work and of the Elquinian and rural scene of her childhood.
Gabriela Mistral, first Latin American winner of the nobel-prize for literature (1945) is always present in the memory of the inhabitants of the Elqui Valley, and is commonly known as one of its most beloved daughters.
We will visit:
- Museum Gabriela Mistral, Vicuņa
- The old school museum, Montegrande
- Mausoleum, Montegrande
- and places where her teaching still is present in actual projects as a human and intellectual inheritance.
