Renting bikes

We recommend routes and can provide you with a detailled description so that you can cover the Elqui Valley whilst combining the typical towns of the area, with their charms and architecture, alongside the beautiful scenery.

Fully equipped descent by bike

We ascend in jeep up to the end of the road in Cochiguaz (16km - 1.800 metres above sea level approx) and/or Alcohuaz (18km - 1.740 metres above sea level) during the ascent we will point out various points of interest during your 3 hour descent.

Transition by bike

For bikers with some practice: This is real mountainbiking high up in the Cordillera of the Andes. The paths we are taking do not even appear in regular maps, so there is practically no traffic. We can watch spectacular rock formation in incredible colours as well as a lot of animals like condors, guanacos, mountain rabbits or foxes.

We can take a bath at "Las Hediondas" hot springs. Basically there are two options for this trip, dependent on interests and level: you can descend from abt. 3.000 m above sea level or make the whole round trip.
