Valley of Alcohuaz Church Alcohuaz petroglifs Petroglifs El Pangue Valley of Horcón

Be fascinated by the simple life.

We leave Pisco Elqui and continue up to the last settlements in the Elqui Valley, and up to the end of the only road at a height of 1740m above sea level, with the peaks dominating the landscape around Horcon and Alcohuaz.

During the trip we will get to know elements of the local Adobe architecture, the churches and we will visit the only remaining traditional Pisco Destillery.

We will also visit the "Handicraft center" in Horcón where we can find beautiful craftwork; at the end of the road we will find a portal leading us to the world of the Cordillera on its other side, and we can have a look at petroglifs, witnesses of the cosmovision of the first inhabitants.
